We were fortunate to fill in for a former sponsor and get a booth spot near the entrance. There were a few more national dealers and repack/Whatnot buyers at Conroe than usual. Even better, most were set up right next to us, so it was easy to inventory. What was left over from H-Town they bought up — much of our inventory and all of our liquid case hits.
Grayson made numerous deals himself for the first time with various vendors and attendees. While I assumed he would mature into a confident salesperson, this was the first show where he really excelled on his own with some pretty sizeable deals. He had multiple $5k plus deals with nationally-known dealers.
Highlight pickup for Grayson was a PSA 10 Santa Downtown. Post-Christmas the pricing had gone down, but it is definitely a hold for 11 months.
