Slabs & Signatures is Tucker and Grayson Worster — a father and son who buy and sell high-end sports cards. We're based in Pearland, Texas, we work shows from Houston to Anaheim, Nashville, Chicago and Boston, and we do most of our business face to face across a table.

How it started
Tucker has been in the hobby since the 1980s, back when a wax pack cost a quarter. He went to his first TriStar shows in Houston in the early 90s with his own dad — thirty years before he stood behind a table at one as a vendor.
Grayson grew up in a different hobby. eBay, Instagram, Whatnot, live breaks. He reads the modern market better than most people twice his age, and he started doing his own deals at shows before he could drive to them.
We set up as vendors for the first time at the Space City Card Show in Rosenberg in August 2025. We sold roughly $25,000 of inventory before the doors even opened that Saturday, then spent the rest of the weekend learning why that was a mistake. How we work
Tucker handles vintage, autographs and the larger deals — Mantle, Jordan, Hall of Fame signatures, the kind of cards where twenty years of context matters more than this month's comp. Grayson handles modern: Downtowns, Kabooms, Color Blasts, and knowing which of them are actually liquid right now.
That split is the whole point. Tucker knows what a card is worth over twenty years; Grayson knows what it's worth this weekend. A seller gets both readings, and we show the comps behind the number rather than asking anyone to take it on faith.
We buy PSA and BGS across the board, SGC on vintage, and raw cards in person only. Single cards we target at $500 and up; collections and estates have no minimum.
Why we write everything down
After every show we publish a recap — what we bought, what we sold, what the floor was like, and what we got wrong. The weekend we sold too much too early. The trade we'd take back. The couple of thousand dollars we lost ripping wax we had no business ripping.
Most dealers only publish the wins. We'd rather you could read three years of our actual results and decide for yourself whether we know what we're doing. All of our show recaps are here.
Where to find us
We work roughly two dozen shows a year, most of them within an hour of Houston — Conroe, Rosenberg, Katy, Friendswood, The Woodlands, Stafford — plus the National every summer and a handful of national stops in Anaheim, Nashville and Marlborough. The full schedule runs through 2027.
Between shows we make house calls across greater Houston for collections worth the drive.
