Fanatics Fest

Our first Fanatics Fest was a great experience. We came in early, caught a Yankees game, visited Dave & Adam's and had some great pizza.

We opted to go all out and bought two On Location Platinum VIP passes. We were able to get in early daily, and the passes got us to skip the lines for photos and autos. We needed them, as we got a long list: Sauce Gardner, Jorge Posada, Alex Rodriguez, Tino Martinez, Ja'Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson and Malik Nabers. The logistics of Fanatics Fest were not nearly as clean as what I was used to with TriStar at home or at The National. Getting in early also allowed Grayson to get his picture with almost all of the big social media personalities — KingofKards, CardCollector2, Trike and others.

The event was much more than a card show, and the show part itself was a good show with nice items, but probably overrated (at least in year two). Prices were a bit high, likely due to the cost to vend.

Because we had Platinum VIP, we got all of the product drops — F1, Topps Series 2 Fanatics Fest, and Cactus Jack. We flipped everything either via eBay or at the show. That was a nice perk on going through On Location. There was a lot of walking involved, so having lounge access to rest and eat actual real food made a huge difference.
