Conroe Card Show

Hyatt Regency Conroe — 1001 Grand Central Parkway, Conroe, TX 77304

Our 2nd show as vendors, at the Hyatt Regency Conroe. Grayson likes this show because he likes spending the night at hotels, and the Hyatt is a decent hotel. Being new, we had three tables against the back wall, but it didn't seem to affect our buying or selling.

Something unique for this show: we had an entire case of Dalton's Pokémon, which I had little idea how to price outside of Card Ladder. There were multiple nice individuals who helped me adjust some pricing to ensure that I did not make any mistakes. One adjustment was big, as the card was worth nearly $1k. In my experience, sports vendors would not have stepped in and helped me re-price a card. There was also much less negotiating with Pokémon buyers than sports — they were more concerned with condition than we are used to.

We sold about half of the Pokémon and a good amount out of our cases. On the sports side, Grayson was able to secure multiple case hits, and we had a nice buy from a couple of Whatnot streamers Saturday. Sales were steady and the value bins seemed to be popular.
