Our 2nd Conroe show. This one was a replacement for a Katy show that was cancelled. Feedback from some vendors was that it was simply too close to the last one, which was only a few weeks earlier. While the card market is hot, two 200+ table shows in a three week period is very different from when shows were a couple of times a year and a big deal. The lack of traffic proved a bit that the sports audience can get exhausted with too many events.

Football season shows can be brutal on Sunday, and this was easily the slowest of our three shows. SpongeBob boxes had just been released, and the lack of buyers led to us buying SpongeBob booster and hobby boxes.

I was surprised some of our cards didn't move, as our inventory has significantly improved over the last few months. Pricing was at comps, but maybe we were buying too high.
